There are many things that others judge us on, and very often people place high value on another person's smile. We see our Tampa dentist often and brush, floss and use mouthwash. We avoid sugar at all costs. Unfortunately, despite doing what they think is right for their oral care, the outcome is lackluster. One thing we all learn at a young age is all about the various dangers associated with smoking. You know that it leads to all sorts of cancers of the lungs and other internal organs. It is not the sugar itself that is responsible for cavity formation. You have read the role saliva plays in your mouth, and that is something that serves in your favor concerning your teeth. Dental cavities are caused by acid from bacteria which is a waste they make when they eat. Make sure that you brush and floss your teeth immediately after you eat any sugary candy. So imagine that you can still have some candy, for example, and then take stringent efforts to get rid of the sugar. There is so much that you can do to improve the health of your mouth.
